Hmm.... can't really say that I like it, though I may have to give the rest of the album a listen.
It's certainly not as bad as that last piece of tripe they came out with - Some Kind of Monster I think it was called? Holy crap that album sucked.
Hmmm... for quite awhile, I've been hearing about how this new album is going to sound like earlier Metallica.
They must be referring to the really early years, before Kill'em All, or Ride the Lightning. The "Total Crap Era" of Metallica.
Though... that could fit for Blow, Reblow, and St. Anger, too.
Okay... now I've made it halfway through. And it does have some of the earlier style of playing. Some.
I'll be interested to see how the rest of the album sounds. Perhaps they've turned back the clock.
But that crappy beginning still sucks donkey balls...
Yeah, the said the last one was supposed to sound like the old style too. It didn't. It just sucked. :P
