Raptors Season Opener
Last night the Rock River Raptors had their season opener against the Chicago Slaughter. This is the team that is coached by Steve "Mongo" Mcmichael from the 85 Chicago Bears. We won the game after trying to give it away in the 4th quarter.
After the game I went and picked up Contagion to head to a favorite local watering hole. Graw came by later and we ended up closing down the place. Now again when Contagion the Enabler is out livers beware. I did not think that I drank that much but my body is telling me that I kinda did.

Need Some Happy Thoughts
Had some people over to play the magical game that seems to be taking over my life.
Out of 5 people
1st one out the 1st game.
2nd out the 2nd game.
3rd out of the 3rd
(noticing out a trend?)
Final 2 on the last game and cause it was so late we just split the pot 60/40 Me at 60%
Made my money back and came out even for the night.
I have a good feeling that maybe....just maybe my poker luck is turning.
That and the possibility of going back to Vegas in June.

Busy Saturday part 2
Now after helping me pick up and bring home my new Big Boy bed
Contagion and I headed to Fritz's for a mello afternoon with good people and lots of beer.
True Believers the unthinkable happened.
I lapped Contagion the first 3 beers.
Even Fritz didnt know what to think.
The beer tasted good and my glass magically kept getting fuller. It's those damn beer elves again.
This may never happen again but I guess I will take my samll victory when I can.
You need a nipple for your bottle Contagion?

Well it finally happened.
I got a big boy bed.
Ever since my Ex and I decided to call it quits, I have been sleeping in a 70's style waterbed.
Now when I say 70's I really mean like Greg Brady style.
Now this came from never having a waterbed and when the need presented itself a good friend was able to hook me up with his old one.
It has served me well until last week.
The middle piece of plywood caved in and the bed was slowly sinking into this sinkhole. I decided then to go get a real big boy bed.
Last night was my first night on it and I am amazed that I did not by one sooner. Not only did I get one hell of a good nights sleep, it also makes shall we say Noctural Activities a bit more fun.
So 751.53 later I am the proud owner of a bed.
Anyone wanna relive their 70's with a classic waterbed?
