My fellow colleague Contagion and I among other friends will be attending the last regular season Raptors game tonight. This is a must win for the guys as we will lock up home field advantage which is a good thing!
Contagion and I have been rabid and almost fanatic about this team since day one. Gods we are even season ticket holders number 1 and 2!
If you love football and are looking for a good family night or even a night out with the guys get down and check it out.
Lets not let ANOTHER great thing leave Rockford due to no participation.

The Raptor Bus Trip
On Sat night Contagion myself and a friend of mine had the chance to take a fan bus to Bloomington to see the Raptors take on the Extreme.
MANY beers were drunk and my kidney still hurts form when I was sucker punched by Contagion.
Now we were victorious by 1 point but hey a Win is a Win!
Now on the way back we sat next to Tom (Tim) Crow who is the General Manager of the Raptors.
A very cool guy who looks to make his team better by listening to and sometimes implements suggestions form just regular armchair quarterbacks.
We talked back and forth over many beers and Tom (Tim) is a real stand up guy.
Tim is what a drunkun Contagion called Mr. Crow.
Now on the raptors website www.raptorsuif.com we have the following and maybe Contagion can shed some light on the last comment if he chooses......
Raptors Defeat Extreme
Raptors Defeat Extreme in close match up... Stay tuned for more information... or visit www.rrstar.com to read the updated articles and www.unitedindoorfootball.com for current stats... Also, a big "Thank You" goes out to our first official fan bus trip of the season... Good Times Cheeto...
Hmmmm Cheeto?

Summer Weddings
Let me 1st start off by saying that I would not have been anywhere else other then by brothers side for this.
Now saying this who the hell plans summer weddings??
Now here is what the tux looked like,
Notice the sheen of SWEAT coming off the the bald head?
Ya the temp that day I think was pushing 90 if not exceeding and when you have outdoor pictures before and after left me a sweaty, bald mess.
Now at the reception we were able to relax a bit,
Good times, good company and LOTS a beer.
Now is it a good time when you glance down at your watch that just said 9:30 and it now reads 3:30?
Frack

Time To Start Looking (thx Grau)
My Friday at work was the most suck filled day I think that could have been handed down.
I should preface by filling you in. I work for an Insurance company as a Customer Service Rep taking verbal abuse from idiots that have no clue about life or legitimately correcting problems with a persons health insurance. I realy like it beacuse there are those rare moments to where you help somone and the are truely thankful. Makes it worth while.
Now an email came down that it has been mandated by the powers that be (now mind you not on the floor or phones but in their nice little corporate offices) that there shall be no radio or music playing while you are on the phones. The only time you can listen to it is if you are on OT (not on the phones) or on you 1 hour project time (which is when you are making your call outs that you couldn't earlier so cant have your radio on then either!
Now everyone that knows me knows that I need music through my day. I wake up to it, work to it, cook too it and finally fall asleep to it.
This rule is the the equivlant to a death sentance. I just cant go 8 hours tied to a desk with no music.
Time to start looking for a new job.
Grau over at Frizzen Sparks http://www.frizzensparks.com/ seems to be doing the same!

SoundTrack for the Week
A little late and it is the weekend for Frack You! (sorry bitter about a work issue. more to come)
So without further auieu the songs to try this week.
1. War Ensamble- Slayer. (thanks T1G) Now before you lose your fracking minds take a listen to Seasons in the Abyss. Produced by Rick Rubin it is an awesome album. Many a sore neck after bangin my head and moshing to this one.
2. Think About You- Guns And Roses. Say what you will about the Gunners but at the time that Appetite For Destruction came out it was a much needed kick in the frackin balls the music industry needed. New kid on the block? Nuff said
3. Bad Religion- Godsmack. Now I dont really care for Godsmack but this song has a dirty feel to it. Like when you sleep with someone that you know you never would or should just cause you can. Dirty
4. Leech- Drain STH. Now I came across these Sweedish girl rockers by accident and is really a rocking album.
5. Summer Breeze- Type O Negative. Yes it is a remake of the all time classic Seals and Croft song but somehow it works. GO pick up Bloody Kisses by these guys and you will be pleased.
Ok now I know this was an all rock soundtrack but if you dont open your mind to differant types and styles of music you are really missing out on so much out there. My Ipod will shuffle Slayer to Bob Marley to Pink Floyd to Reba McIntyre to LL Cool J. You only better yourself if you are open to new opinions and ideas. It may suck but at least you are wiser in at least knowing this.

Do I Smell?
You know there are not very many things that bring me joy in the world. My daughter, a good afternoon with awesome music and a good piece of rhubarb pie.
And I love to play texas hold em.
Now I am NO where near a good player by any stretch of the means but I love to play.
And I cant find anyone to play.
Now I have put the word out and even planned a poker night.
1 person showed up.
So I got pissed and decided to not have ANY more get togethers. NONE. Fuckers cant even give a call to tell me they are not coming over even after saying they will then Frack Ya!
But I really want to play.
A local reception hall had a casino night and Hold Em was the main attraction. I had my daughter that weekend.
Now I should be taking this as a sign but dammit how hard is it to have a poker night once a month or find a game?
Should I take the hints?
